Responsibilities of Publicity Team Leader
- Familiarize yourself with team, drawing up timeline and deadlines
- Appoint Captains to lead teams in Public and Church Distribution
- Build the team, encouraging members to bring interested people to the meetings
The Publicity Team Leader is responsible to oversee all the details of the distribution of free publicity, ensuring that preparations are done and distributions are completed according to the time schedules set by the IWT Coordinator and Executive Committee. Procedure
Step One: Familiarize yourself with all of the responsibilities of this team - in conjunction with the IWT Coordinator; draw up a timeline for events and deadlines for preparation.
Step Two: Build the team and encourage members to bring interested people from other churches. You will also need to recruit teams of people to distribute the various publicity items.
Step Three: Appoint two Captains to lead the following teams:
In larger cities you might want to divide the cities into sections and have 2 teams for each section.
Step Four: Split the members of the team into one of these areas to assist the Captains.

Chalking With water soluble chalk write messages all over town “Impact World Tour is coming – date – location” “Don’t miss it – website”…
Table Tents See if you can get some restaurants to agree to put advertising on their tables. Check with the IWT office if those items can be produced. Costumes, funky hats, balloons… Draw the attention to yourself in busy shopping or event areas, wear a sandwich board, hand out tickets or write messages on balloons hand them out to kids…
