Local Link

For 12 years and overs, meet and befriend Inquirers who come forward at IWT events to learn more or make a commitment to Christ. Foster a relationship of care and encouragement with these Inquirers after the events and help them get plugged into a relevant Christian fellowship. (Disclosure through your church, IWT training, profession of faith in Christ, and approval of a minister from an involved church are required.)

• Attend IWT Local Link Training (3-5 hours total, pre-Tour)
• Obtain pastor’s approval (done on your behalf upon completion of training)
• Fulfil any legal or precautionary requirements (such as background checks, blue cards - Australia, disclosure - Scotland)
• Invite friends to attend IWT events
• Participate in IWT event at the venue as a Local Link including: check-in, attend Local Link briefing, respond with altar call, converse with 1+ Inquirers, complete and submit relevant paperwork, check-out (1-4 full evenings during Tour)
• Contact Inquirers directly after events (1-2 hours per Inquirer)
• Commit at least 8 weeks after events to pray for, encourage, meet with, and facilitate the linking of Inquirers into Christian fellowship in their area (8 weeks post-event, 1+ hours a week per Inquirer, time spent may be on one-on-one or group basis)
